Working Together

Collaboration

Course description

Collaboration is particularly important in complex environments where many different types of expertise are brought together. The course will help you understand and experience what good collaboration looks and feels like. You’ll learn how to create the conditions that lead to good collaboration, and how to address situations that make collaboration difficult (e.g., people working from home, time pressure from deadlines, cultural differences, etc.). The course takes an action learning approach, which means you’ll be doing small group exercises where you’ll get to apply concepts to your own work environment to better understand and practice your role in creating good collaboration. You’ll also have some research and brainstorming work to do between sessions.
