Ontario Aerospace: Blue Skies Ahead
Course description
Right now, the news about the aerospace sector is often pretty negative. In this course, you’ll hear a compelling alternative to that narrative. We want you to see more “blue sky” for the industry and for yourself within it. We’ll explore the current challenges and present a variety of high-level opportunities for you to consider. And with this reframing of the current situation, you’ll be able to identify and take advantage of those opportunities! You’ll come out substantially better informed, and with more confidence to take action.

Get informed about the challenges and opportunities facing the aerospace sector.

Learn about examples of opportunities for Ontario aerospace, including space, sustainability, the post-COVID-19 workplace and travel.

Develop a mindset to see more “blue sky.”

Develop an action plan —personal or for your team— to further positive organizational change.

Two weeks to independently complete e-learning

One 90-minute facilitated industry panel discussion

E-learning duration:

Participants will receive e-learning credentials 2 weeks prior to selected session date.

Registering with COAST only takes a few simple steps.

Fill out the sign-up form.

You will receive a verification email with a link. Click on the link to access your account.

Go to the main dashboard and find the Ministry form.

Download it, fill it out, save it, and upload the saved and completed form in the Upload tab.

You will receive a confirmation email that it has been accepted (this may take up to two business days). Once that is done you may enrol in the courses of your choosing.

To enrol, select the Catalog tile on the dashboard and choose your course dates and times.
Returning students
Go to oac.myabsorb.com and log in with your credentials. Check the Catalog tile on the main dashboard to find this course. Select it and click Enrol.
Employers— Enhance and upgrade employee skills. Recognize and foster employee development. Enrol your company with COAST! Your company may register employees on any of the courses offered at no charge – as long as courses are completed by March 15, 2023.
