Resilience at Work

Course description

This course is for anyone who’s interested in mastering work-related stress and disruption. In it, you’ll explore a range of ways to direct change, adversity and growth by strengthening your wellbeing. Among other things, you’ll explore learned optimism, which does not discount the value of setbacks as a necessary part of the learning and growth process. And you’ll find out how to strengthen your conscientiousness, which studies show is the top non-cognitive predictor of success. You’ll learn how to manage challenging situations and people, how to “fail forward” by creating a competency-confidence loop, and most importantly, how to be more of who you are, with confidence, conviction and clarity. This course blends research with practical exercises in and between sessions where you’ll have the opportunity to apply your learning.
